Personally, I have always preferred Lotte Mart among supermarkets, but recently, I have started developing a fondness for No Brand after discovering a few of their products. Let me introduce some recommended items from No Brand.

No Brand’s Junggye branch has its own parking space, making it more convenient than other places.
I found it quite inconvenient when I visited the Incheon Geomdan branch…
Location of No Brand Junggye Branch: No Brand Junggye Branch 1st floor, 119 Junggye-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul
Located slightly inside Junggye-dong in Nowon-gu, it tends to be less crowded, which is advantageous for consumers. Moreover, the parking space at No Brand Junggye Branch is much more convenient than other places.
However, be cautious when leaving because the traffic signals can be a bit tricky.
Operating Hours of No Brand Junggye Branch: No Brand operates from 10 AM to 10 PM, similar to most of its other stores. Additionally, in accordance with the closure of large marts, it is closed on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month based on Seoul standards.
They often have ramen promotions these days, including their own brand and various other manufacturers’ ramen.
It’s been a while since I visited, and I noticed many cost-effective recommended products at No Brand.
One item that cannot be overlooked among the recommended products at No Brand is their Pringles-like potato chips. I definitely need to grab at least one.
Other Recommended Products:
- Ramen noodles (4 servings for less than 1,000 won)
- Cha-dol-baegi (great for adding to soybean paste stew)
- Must-have item: No Brand Charcoal Grilled Chicken Skewers
These days, their meal kit prices are reasonable, making it convenient for a quick meal at home.
They offer a variety of pizza options, with 2 Gorgonzola pizzas for 6,480 won, a relatively affordable price considering the weight.
And, of course, the indispensable No Brand Charcoal Grilled Chicken Skewers, known for their delicious taste. They are also popular for online orders.
You can easily microwave them at home, making them even more convenient.
Pricing:
- 20 skewers for 14,980 won (almost 15,000 won)
- Roughly 700 won per skewer
Compared to eating out, it’s much more affordable.
They also have reasonably priced rice cake and tteokbokki products.
Don’t forget to get rice cakes for tteokbokki!
For meat items, visit the store when they are about to close in the evening or early the next morning for products nearing expiration.
They have pre-cut green onions, which is convenient. It’s a good option for those who don’t want to waste the parts usually thrown away when preparing green onions.
Fruits are not my area of expertise, so I’ll pass on providing information about them.
Unexpectedly, garlic eggs are available in large quantities for a reasonable price. Large eggs are better than special eggs!
Lastly, the must-have No Brand recommended product: Salko Ki Tuna Pouch.
In pouch form, it’s convenient and has great value for money. The shelf life is quite long, making it a good choice. Mix it with teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise for a quick and delicious snack or lunch. Whenever I need tuna, I always make sure to visit No Brand Junggye Branch.
In Conclusion:
- Wouldn’t it be great if there were No Brand in the countryside where our parents live? (Although having one might ruin the charm of the countryside, right? Haha.)
- Not everything at No Brand is cheap. Some items can be more expensive than those at nearby large supermarkets.
- No Brand’s operating hours are generally from 10 AM to 10 PM, not only at the Junggye branch but also at most of its other branches.
