Breakfast buffet review at Suite Hotel Jeju Jungmun.

A Tasteful Morning at Suite Hotel Jeju – Breakfast Buffet Review

During my recent stay in Jeju, one of the highlights of the trip was undoubtedly the breakfast buffet at Suite Hotel Jeju, located in the heart of the Jungmun Tourist Complex in Seogwipo. While I don’t usually eat much in the morning, something about being on vacation always flips that switch—and I make sure to start the day with a full meal.

Suite Hotel Jeju is known not only for its tranquil atmosphere and spacious rooms but also for its breakfast buffet that rivals dinner in quality. It’s no surprise that guests often leave rave reviews about the food.

📍 Buffet Location & Atmosphere

The buffet is served on the hotel’s lower floor in a clean, cozy dining hall with warm lighting and a calm, relaxed ambiance. Whether you’re a solo traveler or with family, the layout is comfortable and well-organized.

The staff are attentive and friendly, frequently checking and refilling dishes so that everything stays fresh—even during busy hours.

🍽️ Buffet Hours & Pricing

  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Last entry by 9:30 AM)
  • Price: 39,000 KRW for adults / 20,000 KRW for children (ages 4–10)
  • Tip: If you book your room with a breakfast package via the hotel’s official website, it’s a better value!

🥘 What’s on the Menu?

The spread is extensive, offering something for every taste—from Korean staples to Western classics. Here’s a glimpse of what was available when I visited:

Hot Dishes

  • Korean-style kimchi fried rice and spicy pork stir-fry (all made with Korean pork!)
  • Curry-grilled chicken, sausages, and grilled vegetables
  • Scrambled eggs and fried eggs, cooked on the spot
  • Beef and radish soup – hearty and comforting
  • Cold soba noodles, perfect for a refreshing touch

Breads & Pastries

  • Around 10 different types of bread including rolls, croissants, and mini cakes
  • Served with unsalted butter and cream cheese

Fresh Fruits

  • A wide range including kiwi, purple grapes, pineapple, cherry tomatoes, dragon fruit, and oranges
  • The grapes were especially sweet—I couldn’t stop eating them!

Drinks & Sides

  • Yogurt, cereal, milk, fruit jelly, and various juices
  • Freshly brewed coffee and iced Americano (hot tip: leave a review and get a 1+1 coupon for coffee!)

🌟 Final Thoughts

Suite Hotel Jeju’s breakfast buffet is more than just a meal—it’s a premium start to your day. With both Korean comfort food and international favorites, you can eat light or indulge depending on your plans.

What impressed me the most was how everything was neatly prepared, quickly replenished, and clearly made with quality ingredients. It’s the kind of breakfast that leaves you fueled for a full day of exploring Jeju—especially if you’re heading to climb one of the nearby oreum (volcanic hills).

Whether you’re staying at Suite Hotel Jeju or just passing through, the breakfast buffet is definitely worth trying. You might just end up eating breakfast like royalty—fruit, bread, meat, soup, coffee, and all.
