Unlimited refill barbecue buffet for young adults, featuring a variety of menu options at set prices and with no time limit.

Cheongnyeon Gogi Jangsoo buffet is one of the popular barbecue buffet chains in South Korea. It is known for offering a wide variety of meats and side dishes for unlimited enjoyment. Most Cheongnyeon Gogi Jangsoo buffets also provide salad bars, soups, desserts, and other foods that can be enjoyed unlimited for a set period of time. The prices are reasonable, making it popular among a diverse range of customers, from young adults to families and groups of friends. Additionally, many Cheongnyeon Gogi Jangsoo buffets operate as chain locations across various cities in South Korea, providing convenient access for visitors.

I was looking for a place for a gathering with friends and stumbled upon the “Cheongnyeon Gogi Jangsoo” buffet in Wiryeseong New Town.

Originally, I intended to go to “Myeongnyun Jinsagalbi,” which is nearby, but it was too crowded, so we hurriedly moved to this place. As someone who has been to Myeongnyun Jinsagalbi’s renovated store several times, I would say that Cheongnyeon Gogi Jangsoo seemed to offer more diverse menu options and was quite competitive in terms of pricing.

Price List:

  • Adults: ₩18,900 per person
  • Children (3-8 years old): ₩11,000 per person

Additional items such as beef ribs, intestines, cold noodles, chewy noodles, steamed egg, and soybean paste stew could be enjoyed for an extra charge.

The time limit was set to 120 minutes on weekdays and 100 minutes on weekends, but even on Friday, we were allowed to stay a bit longer without much restriction. They seemed to be quite flexible about it.

Cheongnyeon Gogi Jangsoo is located at 18 Wiryeseoillo, Suite 202 and 203, Seongnam-si, Seocho-gu, Gyeonggi-do.

Location: 3 minutes’ walk from Namwiryee Station on Line 8.

This barbecue buffet even accepts “Hibap”!

(Hibap: No idea who that is? lol)

If there’s one thing to complain about, it’s that if they included intestines in the unlimited refill barbecue menu, it would have been perfect. But given the high price and popularity of intestines, it’s not that easy.

Operating Hours: 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM

Unfortunately, bringing pets along is not allowed.

Compared to Myeongnyun Jinsagalbi, the interior here is slightly different, catering more to younger tastes.

Salad Bar:

Starting from rice, there were various sauce options such as curry powder, bean powder, spicy sauce, ssamjang, salt, ketchup, etc. Then there were various meat options like aged snowflake pork belly, pork ribs, marinated pork belly, young chicken ribs, marinated pork belly, raw ribs, steak neck, marinated beef neck, pork skirt meat, etc., providing a wide range of choices.

The salad bar seemed to have over 20 items, including rice, cherry tomatoes, mixed grain rice, white rice, bulgogi, cream pasta, and ice cream, and so on.

The most popular item was pork belly, followed by pork ribs, marinated pork neck, and chicken ribs.

They offer unlimited refills of beverages from dispensers, allowing you to freely enjoy carbonated drinks. Access is restricted for adults who consume alcohol. (Accessible to anyone lol)

Desserts include ice cream, morning rolls, cookies, with butter and strawberry jam provided as standard. The taste of spreading butter on bread was delightful.

It would have been even better if there were machines that could help dispense ice cream.

Although they didn’t use high-quality charcoal like oak charcoal or oak charcoal, but rather compressed charcoal, it seemed that there was no shortage of firepower during the two hours.

Since I’m serious about charcoal… lol

Cream pasta might be a concern for those who come with children, as they might eat more pasta than meat.

While it’s relatively rare to come to Cheongnyeon Gogi Jangsoo for bulgogi, it’s a menu item that could be given to children before the meat is cooked.

Side dishes included green onions, garlic, perilla leaves, pickled radish, potato salad, pumpkin salad, macaroni salad, cherry tomatoes, green chili peppers, kimchi pickles, and fried food.

They have a table kiosk where you can easily order additional menu items.

Choose marinated pork belly.

They brought out soju and beer in an icebox. Good stuff~

Earl Grey Highball.

I had three highballs that day. Of course, various kinds of alcohol were passed around, including those who liked beer and those who liked soju.

At ₩15,000 for three highballs, it was such a good price that I ordered three every time lol.

I worked hard carrying food, one friend grilled diligently, and another friend ordered drinks diligently. Overall, the quality of the meat was decent, and it seemed like the friends who gathered were satisfied.

Combining lettuce with green onions and garlic was a good combination. Still, it was good that lettuce was also available for unlimited refills.

I wouldn’t recommend the marinated pork belly too much though.

Although it was imported pork belly, it had a minimal smell and had adequate juiciness, so it wasn’t tough even when grilled over charcoal. Although it was thick meat, it wasn’t that difficult to grill.

It was my first time trying meat grilled by friends in a long time. Maybe I’m breaking free from the habit of grilling meat myself lol. The quality of pork belly wasn’t bad compared to other unlimited refill barbecue buffets.

Overall, Cheongnyeon Gogi Jangsoo seemed quite reasonable in terms of cost-effectiveness for an unlimited refill barbecue buffet.

The time limit was approximately 2 hours on weekdays and about 100 minutes on weekends. If there’s no waiting, it seemed that you could extend it somewhat.

(We stayed a little over 2 hours on a weekday evening, but there was no mention of vacating the table.)

However, please be aware that there was some waiting on Friday evenings.
