I’m excited to introduce a place where you can rent an electric bicycle and enjoy the stunning dolphin coast in Jeju Island.
First, the beautifully named “Noul Coast 1014,” offers not only a scenic route but also a friendly owner. The roads are safe and less crowded with traffic, making the journey comfortable. One of the highlights of this course is the opportunity to witness Jeju’s southern dolphins up close, providing a truly special experience.
🧡 While renting an electric bicycle, you can enjoy the fresh sea breeze, take a relaxing ride along the coastal roads, and have the chance to spot dolphins joyfully jumping in the clear blue ocean.
This area is called Gosan Village, an exotic and peaceful spot among Jeju’s villages.
Nearby is Jagunae Port, where you can board a cruise to Chagwido Island. The view of the sea from the port is simply breathtaking.

This is the starting point for exploring Jeju’s beautiful coastal roads on an electric bike. Since it’s not yet widely known, it remains an even more attractive destination.
You’ll be able to encounter rare sights at the dolphin coast of Jeju Island.
If you want, you can even ride through quiet country roads, which are more picturesque in person than in photos.
The shop is neat, and they also run a café while renting out electric bikes. I must say, the passion I had in searching every corner of Jeju to find this place finally paid off.
There’s plenty to see along the route. Though the course may seem long on the map, it only takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to complete a round trip.
At the end of the course, you’ll reach the dolphin-watching area. The coast itself is named after the Jeju dolphins.
Riding the electric bike reminds me of a Harley Davidson, which may sound like an exaggeration, but it’s just as thrilling!
Today, I’m going to take a spin on this pretty electric bike and enjoy the scenery.
The helmets are also stylish, and the owner’s attention to detail really stood out. On colder days, they even provide blankets to keep you warm, and all the equipment is well-maintained and clean.
I regret not writing a review or asking for a keychain while I was there. Oh well… maybe next time!
After an invigorating ride, I relaxed with a drink in the bright café. The freshly squeezed grapefruit juice was exceptional, far better than your average fruit juice.
📌Jeju Electric Bike Rental Rates: The maximum speed is limited to 30 km/h, so it’s as safe as riding a bicycle. They offer both single and tandem bikes. If you’re with a partner or family, a tandem bike is perfect. If you have a driver’s license, renting a single bike is also a great option.
With everything ready, I’m all set to explore Jeju’s dolphin coast!
The village view from the terrace was serene and beautiful, especially in the Gosan area, which has a charming, quiet atmosphere.
The café even has a second floor with a great view.
Now it’s time to choose a bike. You can pick from different colors – red, green, or purple. I chose the green one, and the owner joked that they knew I would pick that color. I guess my age gave it away, but I still feel young at heart!
The bikes are thoroughly maintained at the repair shop, and there’s insurance in case of accidents, so you can ride with peace of mind.
After a brief lesson, you can practice riding in front of the village if needed. If you can ride a regular bike, you’ll have no trouble handling these since there are no gears – just turn the handle to go forward.
Especially during sunset, the scenery is breathtaking, and Jeju’s iconic windmill beach and dolphin coast are part of the route, which adds to the charm of Noul Coast 1014.
Here at the dolphin coast, some people were already waiting with cameras to capture the dolphins. Since it wasn’t too crowded, there was no issue getting a good view.
This spot is truly one of Jeju’s hidden gems.
There’s even a CU convenience store with an observation deck nearby. Grab a drink and head up for a free view of the dolphins. If you’re lucky, within 5 to 30 minutes, you might see dolphins swimming in the distance.
If you get hungry, you can grab a cup of ramen, fish cake, or sausage while enjoying the view. It took me about 20 minutes to get there by electric bike.
There’s also a squid drying area near Jagunae Port, which reminded me of Ulleungdo Island from a school trip.
The owner has a great sense of style and created an emotionally touching space, where you can feel the healing power of just standing there.
This is a place I definitely want to revisit, even if I have to rent an electric bike again. I look forward to returning and making more memories.
