Fambridge Café, a large indoor garden café located in Gomori, Pocheon. It’s become one of the hottest spots in Gomori lately, often packed with plenty of guests.
Especially on weekend afternoons, it can cause some traffic congestion in the vicinity due to parking demands, hehe.
Anyway, curious about this place, I went there early on a holiday morning to enjoy brunch.
Entrance to Fambridge:
The entrance might not be flashy, but the interior surprises as a Pocheon Gomori café.
Fambridge Café in Pocheon Gomori is situated halfway up a mountain, so it stands out as a large building from the road.
On the ground floor, there’s a wine shop, which felt a bit out of place.
There’s also a separate gallery area. Some spots have galleries, but they didn’t seem very popular among guests, maybe because it was early morning and there were fewer people.
There was a showcase with pre-made drinks and cakes, offering a variety of options.
The variety of cakes available by the slice was extensive.
There were also savory options like garlic fondue, scallion bagels, cheese rolls, garlic baguettes, Gomori sweet potatoes (named after the area), and cream chouquettes.
They also had items like rice cakes, pumpkin bread, mocha bread, and fruit tarts, all boasting vibrant colors.
Since I went early in the morning, there weren’t many people, creating a serene atmosphere.
Any seat seemed perfect for a healing experience, especially the ones overlooking the displayed bread.
They offered walnut pie, pumpkin sandwiches, and chocolate muffins, among other items.
They had items like bean curry rice, egg tarts, cranberry scones, and chocolate madeleines.
Interestingly, the handwritten signs had a somewhat amateurish feel to them, but it added to the charm, hehe.
They had dishes like sesame curry, Bang ol’ chocolate, danpal pastries, and strawberry pastries.
Croissants, walnut bread, and pandoro were also available.
Let’s wrap up the bread introductions here… but seriously, there were so many types!
A forest path traversing the main indoor area wasn’t artificial but natural.
Around noon, the space gradually filled up with people.
From the central seating, you could also get a panoramic view of the indoor space.
On the second floor, to the left, there’s an indoor garden, which seemed like it would fill up last.
There were private rooms on the second floor, although they didn’t have views of the indoor garden, they provided individual spaces. Among the private rooms, there were spots where about 8 people could sit together.
There were also floor seating areas where you could take your shoes off to relax. Since Fambridge Café is spacious, it offers various themed seating options.
One of the popular spots was the one with a distant mountain view. It offered an unobstructed view, but the proximity to the neighboring tables might be a downside for some.
The garden decorated indoors itself was healing, typical of a Pocheon Gomori café. Realizing why many cars flock here once you see such a large indoor garden.
It felt like being in a botanical garden.
A popular photo spot for many.
From the second floor, looking down.
Among the window seats, this one was quite nice. It seemed to be one of the preferred spots among visitors to Fambridge Café.
“I want to go there again.”
Fambridge Café, located on the way to Pocheon Gomori Reservoir, offers a healing space with its large indoor garden, giving off the feeling of a botanical garden.
