The parking lot is already full…

From what I observed, most of the parked cars belong to other tenants in the building rather than restaurant guests.

As a result, there’s hardly any space available for customers to park.

Consequently, I, too, wasted time wandering around due to parking issues. 😓

Some have visited countless times.

I didn’t look closely, but some names seem familiar just by hearing them.

Where is MiGa Cod Cuisine Specialty Restaurant?

Nestled in a corner of Gaepo-dong, this hidden gem in Gangnam for cod stew was bustling during lunchtime, with no room to spare.

It’s fascinating how people manage to discover even these hidden spots.

The menu mainly features cod spicy stew (KRW 12,000), spicy cod stew (KRW 12,000), spicy pollack stew (KRW 18,000~), and more.

This MiGa restaurant specializes exclusively in dishes made with cod.

Fortunately, the wait for the food wasn’t as long as I expected.

Four types of basic side dishes are served, nothing particularly special.

Fish cake stir-fry and seasoned seaweed

Potato stir-fry and kimchi

While the side dishes didn’t stand out, there were no unpleasant surprises either.

Here, the main dish takes center stage, and the sides seem to receive less attention.

A companion ordered the spicy cod stew and sprinkled vinegar on it before eating.

Is it normal to add vinegar to spicy cod stew? I’m not very familiar with spicy cod stew, being a country bumpkin and all.

Meeting the cod after a long time,

The cod had a taste similar to freshwater eel but slightly milder.

There were about two thick pieces of cod, and the elasticity of cod flesh is certainly different from that of freshwater eel.

In terms of freshness, it’s a place where the cod and the spicy pollack can compete.

Sometimes, during lunchtime, there are staff members clearing the dishes for the customers.

(This is a bit disappointing)

If you go for a late lunch, it’s somewhat better.

As expected of a popular Gangnam cod stew restaurant, there are often long lines to endure during lunch.
