Gimpo Airport Domestic Parking Tips
When parking at Gimpo Airport and traveling to other domestic destinations by car, parking fees can be a concern. If traveling alone, using the airport bus is convenient, while for two or more people, using a vehicle might be more practical. Discounts are available for persons with disabilities, holders of multiple-child cards, and owners of eco-friendly vehicles (electric, hybrid), so it’s advisable to consider these benefits.

Even in the early morning, the first flight departs at 6 AM, and lights are on by 5 AM with buses already operating. Note that when taking the bus, it often drops passengers off on the second floor rather than the first.
After passing the domestic terminal, turn left to spot the domestic parking lot, conveniently located inside a building to shield from rain.
Personally, I prefer the second parking lot over the first for reasons explained below.
Which Parking Lot to Choose
While there are reserved lots for pre-booked users, it’s possible to enter without a reservation. Discounts are available for companions of persons with disabilities, electric and hybrid vehicles, and Seoul families with two or more members.
There is a separate parking tower building in addition to surface parking.
The interior is organized with numbered pillars, making it easy to locate your vehicle. It’s recommended to take a picture of the pillar number for reference in case you forget where you parked.
In the morning, parking spaces are relatively abundant. Although it’s rare to find the parking lot completely full in the afternoon, there’s no need for advance reservations.

The second domestic parking lot at Gimpo Airport has a separate roof, providing comfortable parking even in the rain and reducing vehicle contamination to some extent.
Pre-settlement is possible, allowing for convenient payment before moving.
The parking lot has a semi-indoor structure, ensuring vehicles are not exposed to rain. Additionally, pre-settlement allows for payment before exiting.
Exiting the domestic terminal parking lot and crossing the crosswalk leads to a covered path, connecting directly to the airport entrance.

It takes about 3 minutes on foot to reach the entrance of the domestic terminal from the second parking lot.
Upon entering the terminal, you pass through an area with beautiful trees.
Allow about 10 minutes from parking to reach the check-in counter for a stress-free experience.
Gimpo Airport Domestic Terminal Parking Rates
For standard cars:
- Monday to Thursday: Daily parking at ₩20,000
- Friday to Sunday: Daily parking at ₩30,000
- Initial 30 minutes: ₩1,000, additional ₩500 for every 15 minutes thereafter
Owners of multiple-child cards must register in advance or, if not registered, can do so later. Previously, verification was done at the exit, but due to misuse, it now requires pre or post-registration.
Note: Corporate vehicles can also receive discounts if the owner registers a multiple-child card. Multiple children are defined as having two or more children based on Seoul standards.
