Incheon Chinatown is a place I visit occasionally when I crave Chinese food, even though I don’t particularly prefer it. It’s a place where I can find flavors not experienced in local Chinese restaurants.

A Cold December Day in Incheon Chinatown

On a particularly chilly day in December, Incheon Chinatown’s streets, usually bustling with people, were nearly deserted. The cold air and dim lights painted a quiet scene.

If coming by car, there is parking at the Chinatown public parking lot, just 3 minutes away.

Hidden Location, Specializing in Jajangmyeon

Located slightly off the main street, it might be easy to miss, but it’s close to Incheon Station’s main Chinatown entrance.


Delicious Jajangmyeon

Especially known for its unique Uni Jajang, featured on “Wednesday Food Talk.”


Jajangmyeon Sauce and Atmosphere

Although the menu might be hard to see, the sauce, onions, and black bean paste are available for self-service.


Delicious Tangsuyuk (Sweet and Sour Pork)

Slightly pricey at 30,000 KRW, but the satisfaction is high. Tender and flavorful, definitely recommended.

For those looking for additional tips, about a 10-minute walk from Chinatown, there’s Sinpo Market, famous for its chicken skewers and dumplings.
