Incheon Yongjongdo Inspire Hotel Resort
LED Whale Show and Other Attractions
Let me introduce a place with a wide variety of themes and things to see.
There are plenty of attractions scattered throughout the resort.
In particular, the LED sculptures and structures along the way are perfect for taking photos.
The vibrant and creative designs make every corner feel like a photo zone.
Inspire Entertainment Resort
127 Airport Culture Road, Jung-gu, Incheon, South Korea
The Yongjongdo Inspire Resort Hotel is a place full of attractions, but parking can be a bit tricky on weekends due to the large crowds.
I would recommend parking in the parking tower, as it’s more convenient.
There’s an elevator directly connected to the main lobby, so you won’t need to walk far.
If you park in the outdoor lot, however, it may take a little longer to reach the lobby, so keep that in mind.
Inspire Arena
127 Airport Culture Road, Jung-gu, Incheon, Inspire Arena
Once you’re inside, make your way to the main lobby, which is located at the center of the building.
The lobby is quite spacious, and in the middle, there’s a lovely café.
Behind the café, there’s a small garden designed to resemble a turtle.
Walk through this garden to the very end, and you’ll find escalators leading to the Arena Hall.
Take those escalators, and you’ll reach the location where the famous whale show takes place, a highlight of the Yongjongdo Inspire Resort Hotel.
“Whale Show Times”
The whale show takes place every hour, on the hour, and at half-past.
Though the show only lasts about 2–3 minutes, it leaves a lasting impression with its striking visuals and breathtaking scale.
Pro Tip:
While the main whale show occurs at the top of the hour and half-past, there’s an additional visual treat at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour.
At these times, the Arena Hall plaza behind the whale show features another spectacle, where a massive LED screen descends from the ceiling and displays stunning, colorful visuals.
This offers another layer of entertainment and a unique experience while you wait for the next whale show.
There are countless other attractions throughout the resort, offering many photo opportunities along the way.
These make the walk between different sections of the hotel enjoyable, ensuring you’re never bored as you explore.
Here’s a photo of the main lobby.
Parking in the tower allows direct access to the lobby, making it very convenient.
If you park in the outdoor lot, it leads to the center of the building.
In the central plaza of the Inspire Arena, there’s another viewing area where you can enjoy additional LED displays.
At 15 and 45 minutes past the hour, a special event takes place, with visuals unfolding from above.
Right afterward, at the top of the hour and half-past, you can catch the whale show behind the plaza.
Here’s a great spot to view the whale show, located just behind the previous viewing area.
Viewing the Whale Show at the Yongjongdo Inspire Hotel Resort
Before the whale show, I highly recommend stopping by the Inspire Arena waiting hall to catch another immersive visual experience.
The visuals there are truly captivating and set the stage for the whale show.
Many visitors become fully engrossed in the visuals, often standing still in awe, while others are busy capturing the moment on their phones.
The whale show itself is a short but powerful 2-minute display, featuring mesmerizing LED lights that create a whale swimming gracefully across the massive screens.
Though brief, the experience is intense, and the sheer scale of the show is even more impressive when viewed in person.
After the whale show, the ceiling transforms into a magical night sky, with twinkling stars and surreal visuals, adding to the dreamlike atmosphere.
Must-See Attraction
The whale show is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the Yongjongdo Inspire Resort Hotel.
Located about a 5-minute walk from the main lobby, it’s one of the most popular spots at the resort.
The massive LED screen is a work of art in itself, with each pixel contributing to the vibrant, dynamic display that captivates visitors.
I captured the entire whale show from start to finish—it’s only about 2 minutes long, but the impact it leaves is unforgettable.
Watching it live is a whole different experience, with the large-scale visuals creating an awe-inspiring moment.
Once the show ends, the ceiling changes once again, displaying a mesmerizing night scene that adds a magical touch to the entire experience.
I highly recommend visiting the Yongjongdo Inspire Hotel Resort at least once.
It’s a place full of attractions, even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
Dining and Nearby Recommendations
If you’re hungry, the Garden Palm Café offers a lunch set for 38,500 won, which includes a main dish and unlimited access to the salad bar.
For a hotel restaurant, the value for money is quite good.
After touring the hotel, I suggest heading to Mashian Beach, where you can relax by the sea and enjoy coffee at a bakery café.
It’s a perfect way to unwind while taking in the coastal scenery.
For a different experience, you can visit Yedampo on the opposite side of Mashian Beach, where a scenic walking trail offers stunning views of the West Sea.
This is another way to enjoy the beauty of Yongjongdo and its natural charm.
