A Haegedong tuna and sushi restaurant that only I wanted to know, hidden and tucked away.

After enjoying the delicious food, I found myself getting a bit tipsy, making it a place where I haven’t been in a long time.

Let me introduce the place.

Late-night dealings with the owner of a business and an unexpected feast.

As the owner lived nearby, I left the menu choices to him.

But being someone knowledgeable about food, he led me to a place that perfectly suited my taste.

Is there really a sushi and sashimi place in Haegedong? And with a skilled chef’s expertise?

About a 5-minute walk from Haegi Station Exit 3

Located behind Nowon Inspection Office in Haegedong, and also between Yeonchon Elementary School, Daejin High School, and Seoul Science and Technology University (formerly, Industrial University).

Ah~~ You could even consider Eulji University Hospital as the nearest building.

Anyway, it’s slightly off the beaten path, making it less known despite the chef’s skill, it seems.

✅ Business Hours: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Break Time: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Sunday Business Hours: 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM

But really, do you ever take a break, sir?

(Checked on Naver, and there seems to be no day off)

There’s no standout restaurant nearby, so the sign is noticeable, even though it’s not flashy.

However, during the day, it might not catch your eye at first glance, so look carefully.

What kind of menu do they have?

In addition to various Haegedong sushi, you can also enjoy sashimi dishes such as flounder, salmon, tuna, assorted sashimi, and more.

Ha~~ When will I ever get to taste all of these?

Sushi and More, where you can enjoy trying each piece one by one.

Starting with a deep and flavorful miso soup to moisten my dry lips slightly.

Baek-kimchi, lacquer radish, and salad seasoned with vinegar soy sauce are just the beginning…

Until now, I couldn’t have imagined the feast that was about to unfold.

The setting with narrowed eyes.

Why are there so many types?

Korean omakase cuisine

Abalone, sea squirt, sea urchin (uni), red snapper, tuna, and an unknown sashimi.

I don’t know the names, but the taste melted gently on my tongue with a matured sashimi feeling.

Next time, I must ask.

Curious. Very curious.

Wow ~ Shrimp.

Korean Japanese restaurant dishes

It was good even when combined with sea urchin, and the firm shrimp tasted just as good with a light touch of wasabi soy sauce.

This is how I experienced an omakase feast at Haegedong.

Will it come out exactly like this when I visit again?

It starts with seasonal menu items such as flatfish and sea pineapple coming in occasionally.

Of course, it may vary depending on the season, and it was already March at that time.

This post was delayed for quite some time…

But honestly, even though I wanted to keep this Haegedong tuna place a secret, it’s a shame to bury the chef’s skill. ^^

Today, I finish with draft beer.

But it’s a bit too sweet… haha.

The day when the appetizers were so delicious that the alcohol got to me.

Refreshing after a long time~~~ haha.

Fold/Unfold

I just discovered this Haegedong sashimi place, and although it’s regrettable to find out now, it was a delightful sushi restaurant.

[My Honest Review]

✔ Omakase setting that rivals Gangnam Japanese restaurants.

(Subjectively judged to be excellent in terms of cost-effectiveness and leadership)

✔ You can enjoy various forms of sushi in a tuna and sushi specialty restaurant.

✔ Omakase must be reserved in advance.

(It may vary depending on ingredient supply and conditions)

Up to here, I shed tears at the thought of keeping this Haegedong sashimi place a secret. ^^

The choice is yours~

But it’s definitely a place worth visiting at least once.

Chef! Will you serve it so beautifully again when I visit next time? ^^”
