To spend a fantastic day in Sokcho, we chose our second destination, a cozy ocean-view cafe located near Jangsa Port in Sokcho.
We parked our car near Jangsa Port and took a moment to immerse ourselves in the winter seascape. Though the wind was a bit chilly, the winter ocean view left nothing to be desired.
Right behind Jangsa Port Beach, we found “Another Blue,” a Sokcho cafe with breathtaking ocean views. You can enjoy ocean views from both the first and second floors. While the second floor offers a more distant view, the first floor felt more relaxing.
Located at the edge of Sokcho’s Jangsa Port, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and take a walk along the breakwater pathway. In front of the cafe, there is a small beach that’s perfect for taking photos.
Operating Hours:
- Mon-Thu, Sun: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Fri-Sat: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
As soon as you enter the first floor, you’ll notice the stylish interior along with the order counter. You can even purchase freshly roasted coffee, and they have a coffee roasting machine on the second floor.
Don’t miss their cheesecake and various dessert options. They offer a wide selection of beverages, from Americano, Cafe Latte, and Cappuccino to unique options like Affogato, Cinnamon Cream Caramel, Cream Mocha, and more.
You can choose between two types of Americano: Blending and Single Origin. If you prefer a milder taste and aroma, go for Single Origin.
What’s charming about Sokcho’s Another Blue is that they make all their cakes in-house.
They use organic herb tea imported from the Turkish Anatolia region, providing an excellent choice for tea lovers.
Visiting the cafe in the early morning, we saw a diverse crowd, from solo travelers to couples and families. Most people migrated to the window seats when they became available, and I did the same.
The ocean view from the second floor at Another Blue is one of the best among Sokcho’s ocean-view cafes.
On the second floor, they have a coffee roasting space that resembles a mix of a modern art studio and a mill. They roast a variety of coffee beans here.
Even from seats a bit away from the window, you can still enjoy the ocean view.
With a vanilla latte or blending coffee and a slice of cheesecake, we had a sweet start to our morning, and the blueberry and herb-topped cheesecake was a delightful treat alongside our coffee.
Each coffee cup had a unique design, with mint-colored coffee plates imprinted with the cafe’s initials.
Sokcho’s ocean-view cafe, Another Blue, was the perfect spot for relaxation and healing with a cup of coffee.
“The time spent there was truly delightful.”
An intimate cafe where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while overlooking the ocean view near Jangsa Port in Sokcho.
