After a long time, I visited the deluxe suite room at Millitopia Hotel in Wirye for a gathering with friends. One of my friends, a former military officer and current government official, managed to get it at a slightly discounted rate. Even regular individuals can book through various hotel reservation sites or apps, so keep that in mind.
It had been a year since I last visited Millitopia Hotel, and this was my second visit.
Location:
It’s located about a 7-minute walk from Namwirye Station on Line 8, and about a 5-minute drive from Songpa IC on the Seoul Ring Expressway.
ATM:
Located inside the lobby on the first floor.
Parking:
From the underground parking, you come up to the first floor and head towards the lobby check-in front desk.
Business Center:
There was a business table on the way from the parking elevator to the lobby, offering free printing, copying, and PC usage.
Millitopia Deluxe Suite Room:
Assigned room 1104 on the 11th floor, which provided a high-rise view as it’s a total of 12 floors.
The Millitopia Deluxe Suite Room can accommodate 5 people and is structured with two queen beds and one single bed.
Bedroom 1:
The first bedroom had a queen-sized bed along with a bathroom, shower, chair and table, safe, and a powder room.
There was also a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, but there were only 4 capsules for 5 people, which was insufficient. If it’s a room for 5 people, shouldn’t they provide 5 capsules?

Second Bedroom:
One queen-size double bed and one single bed were present in the second bedroom. There was also a separate TV in the second bedroom.
The bathroom inside the second bedroom didn’t have a separate shower area; instead, it had a sink and toilet combined.
Each bedroom had a robe hanging according to the number of occupants.
Safe:
Plenty of towels were provided, which was sufficient for our one-day stay.
Powder Room:
It served multiple purposes like makeup, washing, shaving, lotion application, and drying, although it was unnecessarily spacious.
Hairdryer:
This amenity was available, as expected in most accommodations nowadays.
Overall, the room condition wasn’t bad.
The first bedroom’s bathroom was spacious, clean, and had a shower area separated by a curtain.

In the living room, there was a 3-seater sofa and a table. Two additional chairs could be brought in from the bedrooms.
Mini Bar:
They were offering various snacks and drinks, including beer, combined for events. Water was complimentary.
We had our first meal at a barbecue restaurant before arriving at the accommodation, but we brought along various snacks.
It offers a wonderful view outside the window.
If only the weather had been a bit clearer, I would have wanted to take a nighttime walk along the walking path and admire the apartment night view.
As the windows don’t fully open, be cautious of the spots and stains on the windows affecting the quality and reflection.

Apart from here, within a 10-minute walk, there are many dining places open until 10-12 at night, so the choice is yours.

Review of staying at the Millitopia Hotel Deluxe Suite Room in Wirye
[My Personal Review]
✔ It’s a hotel with decent conditions that both military personnel and civilians can use as a new city is being developed where a large military base used to be.
✔ There’s a rumor that the breakfast buffet is delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try it due to time constraints, but it seems worth trying at least once.
✔ Around a 10-minute walk from the hotel, various dining alleys have been formed. (There are recommended places with good value for money, such as Cheongnyeon Gogi Jangsu and Myeongnyun Jinsagalbi.)
In addition, there are various restaurants serving Korean beef, Japanese cuisine, Western cuisine, etc., so keep that in mind.
✔ There’s a well-equipped Changnyeongcheon walking path behind the hotel. It’s nicely arranged for morning and evening walks, so it’s nice to enjoy some leisure time there.
