Samcheok Port’s Salmon Center is about a 5-minute walk past the entrance. The center is surprisingly spacious, extending for a considerable length. However, some slightly disappointing and uncomfortable aspects include a bit of solicitation.
Suddenly turned into a prominent attraction, the Samcheok Earthquake and Tsunami Safety Tower stands at Samcheok Port. Initially, I thought it wasn’t operational due to a barricade at the entrance, but it turns out they operate even on weekends (note: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
