Each branch had slightly different charcoal.

This doesn’t seem to be something enforced by the head office.

Anyway, in the case of the meat restaurant near Sanggye Station,

They use regular charcoal, not briquettes or compressed charcoal,

which I found pleasing.

The meat’s flavor was good, and the firepower was decent,

providing a distinct experience compared to other chain meat restaurants.

Introducing the menu of the renovated Myeongryunjinsalgalbi store near Sanggye Station.

A diverse salad bar

They seemed to replenish it frequently if anything was missing.

They don’t have pork neck,

but pork ribs are the main feature.

Back ribs and thick pork belly are also must-have menu items.

For reference, you can request a grill change when grilling pork belly,

so keep that in mind.

Pork ribs

Indeed, the original Myeongryunjinsalgalbi is famous for its pork ribs.

Not only the taste, but the seasoning itself is neither too much

nor too little, making it easier to grill compared to other marinated pork ribs.

Charcoal-grilled chicken ribs

If grilled well, there’s nothing like this taste.

Yum yum~~

Pork skin

Usually eaten last after finishing other meats.

The chewy collagen makes it an essential taste.

Expanded salad bar

The renovated Myeongryunjinsalgalbi has added various salad bar

items, and although the price has increased slightly,

the increased variety offers more options.

Seasoned glass noodles and mung bean jelly

A side dish that adults enjoyed.

Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes)

A hit among children~

An explosive favorite.

Onion sauce, green onion sauce, pepper salt,

curry powder, soybean powder, and other various sauces

were well-stocked in one corner.

Unlimited rice refills

Soft potato skin shower

Soft mashed potatoes lightly sprinkled with a powder that is neither salty nor sweet,

perfect for elderly customers.

The biggest advantage of Myeongryunjinsalgalbi’s pork ribs

is the seasoning that isn’t too salty or sweet,

perfectly matching the palate.

Garlic, lettuce wraps, onions,

and other combinations made wrapping the meat enjoyable.

Green onion and enoki mushrooms could be added generously without worry,

which was nice.

Above all, the lack of excessive sugar meant less burning,

which was another appealing point.
